Removing Anti-Roll Bar
WARNING:
Electrically moved components
- Danger of limbs being trapped
- → Switch off electric power to drive motor.
- → Make sure it does not switch on again.
- → Check that there is no electric charge.
WARNING:
Wheel bearing housing raised incorrectly
- Risk of crushing
- Risk of damage to components
- → Wear personal protective gear.
- → Do not raise the wheel suspension higher than "he normal vehicle position (vehicle resting on wheels).
- Loosen connecting link for anti-roll bar -1-
To do this, counter at the nut -5-
and unscrew screw -4-
.
Rear connecting link
- Disconnect wire harness for PDCC at the roll stabilization (PDCC) (observe specified sequence).
Electric plug connections for PDCC anti-roll bar
- 2.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connections in the sequence -1 to 2- .
- 2.2 Unclip clips -3- .
- Disconnect electric wire harness for anti-roll bar -1-
on body side.
- 3.1 Unscrew nut on ground line -2- in the rear left wheel housing and unclip clips on wiring harness -3- .
Ground point for PDCC anti-roll bar
- Disconnect electric wire harness for anti-roll bar -1-
on the axle side.
Clips on electric wiring harness for PDCC anti-roll bar
- 4.1 Unclip clips on electric wire harness for anti-roll bar -2- .
- 4.2 Pull grommet for electric wire harness for anti-roll bar -3- out of the holder.
- 4.3 Guide out electric wire harness -1- and set it aside in such a way that the anti-roll bar can be removed.
- Remove rear anti-roll bar -2-

Anti-roll bar on rear axle (PDCC)
- 5.1 Unscrew screws on anti-roll bar clamps -1- and remove anti-roll bar -2- .
- 5.2 Guide anti-roll bar -2- with anti-roll bar clamps -3- down out of the vehicle.
