Installing Anti-Roll Bar

Information 

Threaded joints must only be tightened in zero position to prevent warping in the bearings.

1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

   Electric plug connections for PDCC anti-roll bar

   1. 1.1 Replace  and tighten screws on anti-roll bar clamps.

      > Initial tightening 25 Nm (22 ftlb.) (18.4 ftlb.) 

      > Final tightening torque + 90° 

   2. 1.2 Replace  and tighten screws securing connecting links to anti-roll bar.

      > Initial tightening 40 Nm (29.4 ftlb.) (29.5 ftlb.) 

      > Final tightening + 180° 

   3. 1.3  Connect electric plug connections -1 and 2-  in the following sequence:
      1. 1.3.1  Connect electric plug connection for ECU for sensor -2-  until the connector locks with an audible click.
      2. 1.3.2  Secure wiring harness for electric plug connection for ECU for sensor -3-  with tie-wraps.
      3. 1.3.3  Connect electric plug connection for ECU for motor -1-  and lock the latch.
      4. 1.3.4  Secure wiring harness for electric plug connection for ECU for motor -3-  with tie-wraps.
   4. 1.4  Tighten nut on ground line.

      > Tightening torque 16 Nm (12 ftlb.)
