Removing Upper Control Arm At The Rear

  1. Only when removing upper control arm at the rear (right): 

    Remove stone guard for valve unit -1-  .

    Stone guard for valve unit

    1. 1.1  Unscrew nuts -2-  and remove stone guard for valve unit -1-  .
  2. Lower the rear axle slightly so that the screw securing the control arm to the rear axle housing is accessible.

    > 420119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR AXLE

  3. Loosen control arm -1-  .

    Upper control arm at the rear to rear axle housing

    1. 3.1  Unscrew screw securing control arm to rear axle housing -2-  .
  4. Remove control arm -1-  .

    Upper control arm, rear

    1. 4.1  Unscrew screw securing control arm to wheel bearing housing -2-  .
    2. 4.2  Remove control arm -1-  .
