Installing Tie Rod

Information 

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example.

The procedure for the other side is practically identical.

1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

   Tie rod

   1. 1.1  Align eccentric screw -3-  according to the marking.
   2. 1.2  Tighten screw securing tie rod to servo motor for rear axle steering -2-  .

      > Tightening torque 90 Nm (66 ftlb.) (66.4 ftlb.) 

   3. 1.3  Tighten screw securing tie rod to wheel bearing housing -3-  .

      > Initial tightening torque 100 Nm (73.8 ftlb.) 

      > Final tightening torque + 180 (133 ftlb.)°
