Calibrate Windscreen Projection Control Unit

NOTIFICATION 

Voltage drop 

• Irreparable damage to control unit 
• Damage to control unit 
• Fault entries in the control unit 
• Control unit programming/coding is aborted 
• Malfunctions in the control unit, even during programming 
  1. Switch off ignition before disconnecting the control unit.
  2. Make sure that the power supply is not interrupted during programming/coding.
  3. Connect the battery charger with at least > current 90 A  to the vehicle battery.

Information 

Special tool > 9945 - calibration board  is required for calibrating windscreen projection.

1. Connect the Tester to the vehicle and start it. Switch on ignition.
2. Select the vehicle type if necessary.
3. Select the Head-Up-Display  in the overview  Press F12 to continue. The message "Create Vehicle Analysis Log (VAL)?" appears. Press F11 to continue.
4. Select Maintenance/repairs. 
5. Commissioning  must be selected. Press F12 to continue.
6. Read and follow the instructions and information on the Tester.

   Perform procedure according to menu guidance.

7. Read out fault memory  If necessary, process and delete existing errors.
8. Exit the diagnostic application. Switch off ignition. Disconnect the Tester from the vehicle.
