Checking PCC/PVTS Activation (Vehicles With Country Code C02/C36 (USA/CANADA))

  1. Connect the Tester to the vehicle and start it. Switch on ignition.
  2. Place original remote control (hand-held transmitter) in emergency start tray.

  3. Select the vehicle type if required.
  4. Select the Connect  control unit in the Overview.  Press F12 to continue.
  5. Maintenance/repairs  must now be selected.
  6. PVTS  must be selected. Press F12 to continue.
  7. Actual values/input signals  must now be selected.
  8. PVTS  must be selected. Press F12 to continue.
  9. Status:  Operating mode must be selected. Press F12 to continue.
  10. The measured value Normal operation  must be displayed.

    The fault memory entry B17DF52 "PVTS not activated" must not be active.
