Activating PCC/PVTS

Information 

PCC and PVTS are generally activated by the customer directly in the Porsche web shop.

If activation fails: 

Park the vehicle in a place where sufficient mobile phone reception is guaranteed.

The mobile phone reception signal can be checked as follows:

1. Connect the Tester to the vehicle and start it. Switch on ignition.
2. Place original remote control (hand-held transmitter) in emergency start tray.

3. Select the vehicle type if required.
4. Select the Gateway  control unit in the Overview.  Press F12 to continue.
5. Actual values/input signals  must now be selected.
6. Mobile communication  must be selected.
7. Connection status: validity  must then be selected.
8. The measured value valid  must be displayed.

   Then create a ticket in the PRMS in order to get Vodafone to start the activation process again. This process can take up to a week. 

   To ensure prioritised processing of the ticket, use the "Vodafone code word" for the ticket.
