Removing Front-End Electronics

NOTIFICATION 

Voltage peaks 

• Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 

  → Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).

  → Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

Information 

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

• Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work  .
• Do not remove new part from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation and only at the installation position  .
• Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts  .

1. Unclip retaining clip -1-  on the holder -2-  .

2. Press in locking mechanism -3-  on the holder -2-  and push front-end electronics down slightly -Arrow-  .

3. Release and unplug electric plug connections -1-  .

4. Unscrew front-end electronics -1-  by moving it downwards to the rear -Arrows-  .
