Removing Hydraulic Control Unit

WARNING: Hot fluid
  • Danger of scalding
    • forward Let the fluid cool down.
    • forward Wear personal protective gear.
WARNING: Caustic fluids
  • Danger of chemical burns
    • forward Wear personal protective gear.
    • forward Ensure that there is good ventilation.
    • forward Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
    • forward If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
  1. Remove transmission control mechanism.
    1. 1.1 Unscrew and remove screws -11 and 20-  .
    2. 1.2 Screw in two replacement screws (M6 x 95 mm) by about 10 mm at position -11 and 20-  .
    3. 1.3 Unscrew the remaining screws in reverse tightening sequence and carefully set the transmission control mechanism down on the replacement screws.

    Information 

    Carefully disconnect plug connections - risk of breakage.

  2. Carefully release electric plug connections -1 and 2-  on the solenoid valves -3 and 4-  and disconnect them.

  3. Unscrew replacement screws and remove hydraulic control unit.
