Installing Port Plate For ATF Cooler

Information
- Aluminium screws must always be replaced.
- Aluminium screws must be secured using the yield-strength procedure.
- To ensure that the screws are tightened uniformly, the specified tightening setting "light, medium or hard" must be used.
- The threshold torque (initial tightening) must be set on the > 9768 - electronic torque wrench from 2 - 100 Nm (1.5 - 74 ftlb.) when tightening using the yield-strength procedure.
- Clean the sealing faces of the port plate -3- and the sealing faces of the transmission using a lint-free cloth or paper.
- Fit new sealing rings -4- on the port plate -3- .
- Position port plate -3-
on the transmission.
Make sure that the eccentric washer -2- and the drive -1- are positioned correctly with respect to each other.
- Fit fastening screws -2-
and tighten to > Initial tightening + yield strength 2.4 Nm (2 ftlb.)

Check length of screws.
- Connect coolant hoses -2- to the port plate and secure the clamps -1- .
