Installing Brake Booster
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Use a new seal between the brake booster and body.
- With the help of another person working in the technical equipment space, guide the brake booster push rod through the pedal module and align it with the brake pedal.
- Connect brake booster push rod -2-
. to the brake pedal -1-
.
- 3.1 Check ball joint holder -1- . in the brake pedal -3- for damage and replace it if necessary.
- 3.2 Position ball joint holder -2- in the brake pedal on the ball joint for the push rod -2- (-arrow B- ).
- 3.3 Press the brake pedal -1-. (-arrow A- ) until the ball joint of the brake booster push rod -2- . locks with an audible click in the ball joint holder -3- in the brake pedal -1- .

Check that the ball joint of the brake booster push rod -2-
. is connected securely to the ball joint holder -2-
. in the brake pedal -1-
.

- Further installation is performed in reverse order to removal.
Fastening screws > Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.) .
