Components that come into contact with brake fluid must be cleaned with brake cleaner.
IMPORTANT:
Brake pads that have been contaminated with brake fluid must be replaced.
- Installation is performed in reverse order to removal.
Fastening screw securing holder for electric wiring harness for brake pad wear indicator and brake line to wheel carrier > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) .
Fastening screws securing brake calliper to wheel carrier > Tightening torque 85 Nm (62.7 ftlb.) .
Brake line the brake calliper > Tightening torque 16 Nm (ll.8 ftlb.) .
