Replacing Brake CALLIPER Screws

Information
The brake calliper screws may only be replaced in the event of a complaint (corrosion) and only on grey cast-iron brakes on the front axle.
If no complaint is received, the brake calliper screws must not be loosened or unscrewed.
- Unscrew outer brake calliper screws -1-
on the front brake callipers using > 9909 - socket-wrench insert.
Brake calliper screw on pad retaining pin
- Clean threaded bores using compressed air.
- Tighten outer brake calliper screws -1-
on the front brake callipers using > 9768 - electronic torque wrench 2 -100 Nm (1.5-74 ftlb.)
and > 9909 - socket-wrench insert
. > Initial tightening 10 Nm (7.4 ftlb.)
> Final tightening + 30° + 4°
