Checking Brake Fluid Level

Installation position of brake fluid reservoir Information

Information 

• The brake fluid level must be between the MIN and MAX markings.
• Check brake fluid quality. Use only new DOT 4 brake fluid.
• Brake fluid can be ordered using the Porsche Electronic Parts Catalog (PET).

1. Visually inspect the brake fluid level through the opening in the cover -arrow-  .

2. If the brake fluid level is not between MIN and MAX:  Correct the brake fluid level
   1. 2.1  Remove cover.

      > WM, 852219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT SPACE COVER

   2. 2.2  Correct the brake fluid level by extracting brake fluid using a suitable tool or by adding brake fluid
   3. 2.3  Install cover.
