Removing Clutch Slave Cylinder

Remove exterior shift mechanism.
1. 1.1 Lever off the shift cable -1- and connecting rods -2 and 3- on the exterior shift mechanism.
2. 1.2 Disengage shift cable mounting -5- .
3. 1.3 Screw off fastening nut -4- .
4. 1.4 Pull two-piece exterior shift mechanism -6- off the shifting shaft.

Unclip coolant hose -1- from the transmission for easier access.

Unclip the clutch line -1- at the bracket -2- (-arrow- ).

Information
- During assembly work on the hydraulic connections, all electric plug connections in the connection point area must
- always be connected. This prevents the inside of the plug connections from being splashed with brake fluid or water.
- Clean any plug connections that have become dirty or damp during removal and fitting using a lint-free cloth, for example.
- Brake fluid on electric contacts (even thinned brake fluid) causes corrosion and can result in faults in the system.
- Remove any escaping brake fluid immediately; rinse with water and dry thoroughly if necessary.
Release the clutch line.
1. 4.1 Please a clean, absorbent cloth underneath.
2. 4.2 Remove circlip -3- .
3. 4.3 Disconnect clutch line -2- from the clutch slave cylinder -1- and collect emerging brake fluid.
4. 4.4 Close off openings on the clutch slave cylinder -1- and on the clutch line -2- using suitable stoppers.
Unscrew and remove fastening screw -4- .

Pull out the clutch slave cylinder -1- (-arrow- ).
