Preliminary Work

  1. Remove rear underbody cover.

    > Refer to appropriate service information for Removing and installing cover for rear underbody.

  2. Remove moulded hose at the bottom between the turbocharger and pressure pipe.

  3. Loosen intake manifold completely.

    212419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INTAKE MANIFOLD 

    1. 3.1 Leave intake manifold in the vehicle.
    2. 3.2 Preliminary work for removing and installing oil separator is not required.
  4. Disconnect tank vent valve.

    > 202319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TANK VENT VALVE

    1. 4.1 Release and disconnect electric connector on the tank vent valve.
    2. 4.2 Pull tank vent valve off the holder.
