Removing And Installing Middle Radiator

WARNING:
Hot fluid
- Danger of scalding
- → Let the fluid cool down.
- → Wear personal protective gear.
WARNING:
Caustic fluids
- Danger of chemical burns
- → Wear personal protective gear.
- → Ensure that there is good ventilation.
- → Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
- → If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
Information
Despite having drained the coolant, residual amounts of coolant will emerge at the connection points during removal. Have sufficient collecting containers and cloths ready.
- Pull coolant hoses -1-
at the left and right off the middle radiator.
- 1.1 Clamp off coolant hoses using hose clamps.
- 1.2 Open clamps -2- on the coolant hoses.
- 1.3 Disconnect coolant hoses -1- from the middle radiator.

- Press the middle radiator -1-
to the rear and out of the lower brackets -2-

- Press the middle radiator forward out of the upper brackets -2-

) and hold it.

- Remove middle radiator -1-
from the bracket.

Information
- Coat O-rings, hoses and lines in the cooling system with Kluberplus Gel (Part No. 000.043.205.93).
- Installation is performed in reverse order.
