Installing Directional-Control Valve For Thermal Management

WARNING: Caustic fluids 
  • Danger of chemical burns 
    • → Wear personal protective gear.
    • → Ensure that there is good ventilation.
    • → Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
    • → If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
  1. Check sealing ring on the directional-control valve and replace it if necessary.
  2. Coat sealing rings and inside of coolant hose lightly with Kluber Plus Gel.
  3. Further installation is performed in reverse order to removal.

    Fastening screw securing holder to coolant connection piece > Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)  .

    Fastening screws for directional-control valve > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)  .
