Removing Coolant Distributor Housing

WARNING:
Caustic fluids
- Danger of chemical burns
- → Wear personal protective gear.
- → Ensure that there is good ventilation.
- → Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
- → If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
- Remove pressure hose -1-

- 1.1 Loosen hose clamp -2- and pull off hose -3- .
- 1.2 Loosen spring clamp -4- .
- 1.3 Loosen hose clamp -5- .
- 1.4 Remove pressure hose -1- and re-fit spring clamp -4- .
Pressure hose
- Remove crash reinforcement -1-
.
- 2.1 Unscrew fastening screws -2- .
- 2.2 Remove crash reinforcement -1- .
Crash reinforcement
- Unscrew fastening screw -1- on bracket for coolant line.
- Unscrew fastening screw -2-
on the coolant line -3-
and pull coolant line -3-
out of the distributor housing.

- Unscrew fastening screws -1-
and remove bracket for belt tensioner -2-
.
Bracket for belt tensioner
- Unscrew fastening screws -1-
from the holder -2-
.

- Remove coolant distributor housing -2-
.
- 7.1 Unscrew fastening screws -1- on the coolant distributor housing -2- .
- 7.2 Lift air-conditioning compressor and holder slightly and remove coolant distributor housing -2- . Be careful with the dowel sleeve -arrow- .
