Removing Coolant Pump

WARNING:
Caustic fluids
- Danger of chemical burns
- → Wear personal protective gear.
- → Ensure that there is good ventilation.
- → Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
- → If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
- Have a suitable container ready for collecting coolant.
- Remove heat shield -2-

- 2.1 Unscrew screws -1- on heat shield -2- .
- 2.2 Remove heat shield -2- .

- Remove coolant pump -3-
.
- 3.1 For vehicles without
particle filter:
Disconnect vacuum line -1- .
- 3.2 Unscrew screws -2- .
- 3.3 Remove coolant pump -3- and collect emerging coolant.

- 3.1 For vehicles without
particle filter:
- Check the coolant pump pulley for damage and replace it if necessary.
