Removing Coolant Pump

Information
- The coolant pump manufacturer supplies the coolant pump with housing (console) complete as a spare part and the coolant pump as an individual part.
- If the component is damaged, replace the defective component (single part or module).
- There is a separate description for the coolant pump as an individual part.
- Have a suitable container ready for collecting coolant.
- Remove coolant pipe -1-

- 2.1 Unscrew screws -2 and 3- .
- 2.2 Guide coolant pipe -1- up at an angle and remove it.

- Remove coolant pump with housing -3-

- 3.1 For vehicles without
particle filter:
Disconnect vacuum line -1- .
- 3.2 Unscrew screws -2- .
- 3.3 Loosen coolant pump -3- and collect emerging coolant.
- 3.4 Unscrew screw -4- and pull off coolant connection piece -5- .
- 3.5 Remove coolant pump with housing -3- .
