Installing Coolant Pump

WARNING: Caustic fluids

Danger of chemical burns
- → Wear personal protective gear.
- → Ensure that there is good ventilation.
- → Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
- → If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.

Information

Coat O-rings, hoses and lines in the cooling system with Kluberplus Gel (Part No. 000.043.205.93).

Clean sealing surfaces carefully.
Install coolant pump with housing -3- .
1. 2.1 Position coolant pump with housing -3- .
2. 2.2 Push on coolant connection piece -5- . Fit and tighten screw -4- .
  > Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)
3. 2.3 Push coolant pump -3- onto the coolant pipes.
4. 2.4 Fit and tighten screws -2- .
  > Tightening torque 33 Nm (24 ftlb.)
5. 2.5 For vehicles without particle filter:
  Fit vacuum line -1- .

Install coolant pipe -1- .
1. 3.1 Insert coolant pipe -1- .
2. 3.2 Fit and tighten screws -2 and 3- .

1. 2 Screw, M6 x 20 > Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)
2. 3 Screw, M6 x 12 > Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)
