Removing Rear Tie Rod

Information 

• Due to the tightening specifications, the installed hexagon nuts do not necessarily have to be replaced. 
• Reuse of components is permitted if they are in good condition. 
• Replace damaged or severely corroded hexagon nuts. 

1. Screw off hexagon nut -1-  Counter with a Torx screwdriver at the ball-joint pin while doing this.
2. Press toe control arm -2-  off the wheel bearing housing using > 9560 - press-out tool-4-  .
3. Mark the position of the toe eccentric adjuster -3-  on the rear-axle carrier side section.
4. Remove toe eccentric adjuster -3-  and remove toe control arm.
