Subsequent Work

Subsequent work for cylinder bank 3-4: 

1. Secure engine ground strap -1-  to the body -2-  .

   M8 screw:  > Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)

2. Install vacuum line -1-  for brake booster.
   1. 2.1 Check that the line is fitted securely.

   Subsequent work for cylinder bank 1-2: 

3. Install catalytic converter with cross tube.

   > 267319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CATALYTIC CONVERTER .

   Further work: 

4. Install diagonal braces.

   > 421320 REMOVING AND INSTALLING STRUTS .

5. Install cover for underbody.

   > WM, 519419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR REAR UNDERBODY

6. Install air guide for raw-air intake on the air cleaner housing.
7. Install engine compartment lid.

   > WM, 557819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE COMPARTMENT LID
