Removing Engine Carrier (Bracket)

- → Secure components to prevent them from falling down.
Information
- When lowering the engine, it must not rest on the rear-axle cross member.
- The exhaust system must not touch against the body or rear apron when lowering it.
- Loosen clamps on the tailpipe cover if necessary and turn tailpipe cover downwards.
- Always be careful of hoses, lines and cables when lowering the system!
- Always avoid collisions!
- Support the engine at the oil pan using transmission jack and lower it.

- 1.1 Screw off collar nuts -3- on the engine mount.
- 1.2 Lower the engine until the threaded bolts -2- on the engine mount -1- are exposed.
Engine mount on bracket
- Remove console.
- 2.1 Unscrew screws and remove bracket.
