Removing Engine Carrier (Bracket)

Information 

• When lowering the engine, it must not rest on the rear-axle cross member. 
• The exhaust system must not touch against the body or rear apron when lowering it. 
• Loosen clamps on the tailpipe cover if necessary and turn tailpipe cover downwards. 
• Always be careful of hoses, lines and cables when lowering the system! 
• Always avoid collisions! 

1. Support the engine at the oil pan using transmission jack and lower it.

   > 1001IN LOWERING THE ENGINE TO COMPLETE OTHER WORK .

   1. 1.1 Screw off collar nuts -3-  on the engine mount.
   2. 1.2 Lower the engine until the threaded bolts -2-  on the engine mount -1-  are exposed.

2. Remove console.
   1. 2.1 Unscrew screws and remove bracket.
