Installing Valve-Stem Seals

Information

Replace valve-stem seals.

Insert lower valve-spring plate.
1. 1.1 Oil the valve stem lightly and position assembly sleeve (shim set for valve-stem seals).
2. 1.2 Slide new valve-stem seal over the sleeve by hand.

Use > 9606/1 - assembly driver or > 3365 - fitting tool to press the valve-stem seal as far as it will go onto the valve stem -arrow- .
1. 2.1 Remove tool and assembly sleeve.
