Installing Solenoid Hydraulic Valve For Valve Lift Adjustment

NOTIFICATION 

Ingress of dirt 

• Danger of material damage due to blocked oil bores/oil ducts 
  • → Ensure absolute cleanliness when working on the engine.
  • → Lay removed engine parts on a clean surface and cover them.
  • → Use a cover or PE sheet on the engine assembly support to prevent dirt from getting into the engine during assembly.

1. Replace O-ring -2-  and grease with Kluber Syntheso Glep.

2. Install solenoid hydraulic valve for valve lift adjustment.
   1. 2.1 Fit solenoid hydraulic valve -3-  into the cylinder head.
   2. 2.2 Fit fastening screws -2-  for the relevant solenoid hydraulic valve -3-  and tighten to > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)  .
   3. 2.3 Connect electric plug connections -1-  until the locks lock securely.

3. Check engine-oil level.
