Installing Actuator For Camshaft Control

Information 

• Always replace seals and O-rings. 
• Coat all O-rings and sealing surfaces with a light coating of Vaseline to prevent damage to the O-rings. 
• Lubricate all bearing locations with a light coating of engine oil (unless a different procedure is specified). 

1. Grease new sealing ring -2-  on actuator for camshaft control -1-  with the prescribed lubricant.

2. Install actuator for camshaft control -3-  .
   1. 2.1 Fit actuator for camshaft control -3-  .
   2. 2.2 Fit fastening screws -2-  and tighten to > Initial tightening 4 Nm (3 ftlb.)  and > Final tightening torque angle 60°  .
   3. 2.3 Connect electric plug connection -1-  until the lock engages securely.
