Removing The Generator

Information
A commercially available aluminium mandrel and a plastic hammer, for example, are ideal as tools.
- Loosen cap -2 - and screw off the fastening nut underneath.
- Remove B+ line -5 - from the generator -1 -.
- Unscrew and remove fastening screw -3 -.
- Disengage line -4
- slightly so that the generator -1
- is accessible through the opening in the rear wall cover.
- Loosen fastening screws -6 - by about three turns.
- Drive fastening screws -6
- towards the generator -1
- using a suitable tool in order to loosen the threaded sleeves.
- Lift the generator -1 - as far as required until the electric plug connection -7 - is accessible.
- Disconnect electric plug connection -7 -.
- Lift the generator -1
- up and out.
