Removing The Generator

Information 

A commercially available aluminium mandrel and a plastic hammer, for example, are ideal as tools.

1. Loosen cap -2  - and screw off the fastening nut underneath.
2. Remove B+ line -5  - from the generator -1  -.
3. Unscrew and remove fastening screw -3  -.
4. Disengage line -4  - slightly so that the generator -1  - is accessible through the opening in the rear wall cover.

5. Loosen fastening screws -6  - by about three turns.
6. Drive fastening screws -6  - towards the generator -1  - using a suitable tool in order to loosen the threaded sleeves.

7. Lift the generator -1  - as far as required until the electric plug connection -7  - is accessible.
8. Disconnect electric plug connection -7  -.
9. Lift the generator -1  - up and out.
