Removing Supply Line (Engine)

- → Secure collection containers/vessels to prevent them from tipping over.

- Loosen the fuel line connections carefully!
- The residual pressure in the system can cause fuel to spray out!
- Wear suitable protective clothing and goggles!

- Open connections and lines must be closed off using suitable stoppers or caps.

- Get another person to help you to guide the fuel line in and out.
- Pull recirculating air valve -1
- off the cable duct.
- 1.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2 -.
- 1.2 Pull off recirculating air valve -1 - in -direction of arrow- .
- Loosen cable duct -1

- 2.1 Unscrew screws -2

- 2.1.1 Remove screws -2 - with a magnet.
- 2.1 Unscrew screws -2

- Unclip wiring harness -1 and 2-
.
- 3.1 Unclip wiring harness -1 - at positions -3 -.
- 3.2 Unclip wiring harness -2 - at the high-pressure line -4 -.
- Unclip vacuum line -1

- 4.1 Unclip vacuum line -1 - at positions -2 -.
- Release and disconnect electric plug connections -1

- 5.1 Loosen ground cable -3 - for ignition coil -2 -.
- Release and disconnect electric plug connections -1
- at the hall sensors -2

- Release and disconnect electric plug connection for fuel injector -1
-.
- Pull fuel hose -1
- off the high-pressure pump -2

- 8.1 Loosen spring band clamp -3 - using > VAS 6930 - Spring Band Clamp Pliers and slide it upwards.
- 8.2 Pull off fuel hose -1 - (-arrow -).
- Open supply line at the connection point on the underbody.
- 9.1 Place a cloth underneath the connection point -1 -.
- 9.2 Open line clip -4 - and unclip line.
- 9.3 Release lock on the plug-in coupling -2 - (pull upwards).
- Remove supply line -1

- 10.1 Loosen and unscrew screws -2 -.
- 10.2 Carefully guide supply line -1 - up and out. Get another person to help.
