Installing Tank Vent

Move tank vent valve with tank vent line into installation position from above.
Secure tank vent line at the top.
1. 2.1 Plug in connection -1 - on the intake distributor.
2. 2.2 Plug in connection -2 - on the intake pipe.
3. 2.3 Fasten clips -Arrow -.

Secure tank ventilation sensor or dummy -1 - on the intake pipe.
1. 3.1 Screw in and tighten tapping screw -2 -.
  > Tightening torque 2 Nm (1.5 ftlb.) + 0.5 Nm (0.3 ftlb.)
2. 3.2 Plug in cable plug -3 -.

Insert tank vent valve -3 - into the bracket and plug in cable plug -2 -.

Insert tank vent line -1 -. Clip line into the bracket -2 - and fastening clamp -3 - onto the intake pipe.

On vehicles with Venturi turbocharger connection:
Secure tank vent line valve -1 - at the bottom of the turbocharger -2 -.
1. 6.1 Coat new O-rings with lubricant.
2. 6.2 Tightening screw -3 -.
  > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) (7.4 ftlb.)

Fit intake pipe on the turbocharger and secure with screws.
> Tightening torque 12 Nm (9 ftlb.)
Secure engine mount.
> Initial tightening 40 Nm (30 ftlb.)
