- The ball socket is preset and must not be loosened.
- The control box is supplied as a complete spare part and includes the push rod, ball socket and decoupling plate.

- The clamp must always be replaced after it has been opened.

- Remove control box -5
- and holder.
- 1.1 Lever off ball socket -2
- on the flap lever.
Spray with anti-rust agent if necessary.
- 1.2 Open clamp -4 - on the connecting hose -3 - and pull off connecting hose -3 -.
- 1.3 Unscrew fastening screws.-1 -
- 1.4 Remove control box for exhaust flaps -5 - and holder.
- 1.1 Lever off ball socket -2
- on the flap lever.
- Unscrew fastening nuts -1
- and pull holder -2
- out of the control box -3

- 2.1 Check the installation position of the ball socket with respect to the position of the ball joint on the exhaust flap.
