Install Control Box

Information 

• The ball socket is preset and must not be loosened. 
• The control box is supplied as a complete spare part and includes the push rod, ball socket and decoupling plate. 

1. Position holder -2  - on control box -3  - and secure with three new fastening nuts -1  -.

   > Tightening torque 6 Nm (4.4 ftlb.)

   Information 

   • The clamp must always be replaced after it has been opened. 
2. Fit the control box and holder on the connecting tube.
   1. 2.1 Grease fastening screws -1  - with a light coating of high-temperature grease.
   2. 2.2 Position control box -5  - and holder on the connecting tube.
   3. 2.3 Fit and tighten fastening screws -1  -.

      > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.4 ftlb.)  >

   4. 2.4 Fit ball socket -2  - on the ball joint on the flap lever.
   5. 2.5 Fit connecting hose -3  - on control box -5  -.
   6. 2.6 Fit a new clamp -4  -.
