Removing One Rear Silencer

Information 

• Pre-treat corroded components with anti-rust agent or heat. 

1. Screw off lock nuts -1  - on the two-hole flange.

2. Only for vehicles with exhaust flaps: 

   Pull off vacuum hose -3  - for exhaust flap.

   1. 2.1 Loosen clip -4  -.
   2. 2.2 Pull the vacuum hose -3  - off the control box -5  -.
3. Loosen screw -1  - at the clamp -2  -.

4. Detach tailpipe cover.

   > 263519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TAILPIPE COVER 

5. Loosen clamping sleeve and move it onto the rear silencer that is still in the vehicle.
6. Remove rear silencer.
