Removing Oil Pan (Upper Part)

NOTIFICATION 

Dirt and contamination 

• Risk of damage to units or components 
  • → Protect components from dirt and contamination.
  • → Clean or replace dirty components.

1. Unscrew screws -1-  and remove heat shield -2-  .

2. Remove coolant pipe.
   1. 2.1 Unscrew screws -2 and 3-  .
   2. 2.2 Remove coolant pipe -1-  .

3. Loosen connector housing for oil pressure control valve.
   1. 3.1 Unclip spring clamp with heat protection -1-  .
   2. 3.2 Release and pull off cable plug -2-  .
   3. 3.3 Press out connector housing and leave it hanging.

4. Remove oil line.
   1. 4.1 Unscrew screws -1-  .
   2. 4.2 Remove oil line -2-  .

5. Remove upper part of oil pan.
   1. 5.1 Unscrew and remove screw -1-  .
   2. 5.2 Unscrew screws on upper part of oil pan -2-  .
   3. 5.3 Remove upper part of oil pan -3-  .
