Connect cable plug -2- for oil-level sender -1- and check that it is seated securely.

Plug connection for oil level sensor
Install heat shield -1- .
1. 2.1 Fit and tighten screws.
  > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

Heat shield on lower part of oil pan
Fill in engine oil.
> 170117 CHANGING ENGINE OIL AND OIL FILTER .
Start the engine and let it heat up until operating temperature is reached (oil temperature is at least 80°C).
1. 4.1 Oil temperature can be checked using the PIWIS Tester.
2. 4.2 Visually check the oil pan for leaks.
3. 4.3 Check oil level.
