Removing Parking Lock Cable

  1. Loosen locking mechanism on the support -1-  and unclip parking lock cable -2-  .

  2. Disconnect parking lock cable on the transmission.
    1. 2.1 Press off end piece of parking lock cable -1-  using > VAS 6933 - Disassembly tool. 
    2. 2.2 Release parking lock cable at the support -2-  and pull it out -arrow-  .

  3. Remove parking lock cable -1-  .
    1. 3.1 Disconnect parking lock cable -1-  on the body.
    2. 3.2 Guide parking lock cable -1-  through from the engine compartment into the passenger compartment.
