Filling ATF (Clutch Fluid)

Information 

ATF specifications for Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK):

• Storage: Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, at a temperature not less than -40°C and not higher than +50°C 
• Storage time: 5 years from fill date on container 
• Before using oil: Shake the container well for at least 10 seconds. 

Information 

Only use oil approved by Porsche in the Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK), see Parts Information.

1. Have a container ready for collecting ATF.

   Information 

   Use the old filler plug because the filler plug will have to be unscrewed again when checking and topping up and will only be replaced then.

2. Fill in ATF.
   1. 2.1 Unscrew ATF filler plug -1-  .
   2. 2.2 Add ATF using a manual metering pump > VAS 6563 - Manual metering pumps, Porsche set  until ATF emerges at the filler bore.
   3. 2.3 Screw in old filler plug -1-  and tighten hand-tight.

3. Carefully clean transmission housing and adjacent components.
