Draining ATF (Clutch Fluid)

Information 

If a vehicle with Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) is not moved for more than 5 years, the ATF must be changed irrespective of the mileage driven since the last ATF change.

1. Position oil collection pan for collecting ATF.
2. Drain ATF.
   WARNING: Hot fluid

   • Danger of scalding
     • forward Let the fluid cool down.
     • forward Wear personal protective gear.
   1. 2.1 Unscrew ATF drain plug -2-  and drain ATF.
3. When only drops of ATF are still emerging, screw in and tighten new ATF drain plug.

   > Tightening torque 15 Nm (11 ftlb.) + 3 Nm (2 ftlb.)
