Removing Transmission Mount

A Nut on transmission mount
- The nut -A- on the transmission mount -1- must only be loosened if the transmission mount -1- has to be replaced.
- Counter at the two flats on the gear support -2- while loosening.
- Do not loosen the nut -A- during re-installation.
- Support the transmission using > VAS 6931 - engine and gearbox jack.
- When removing the right transmission mount:
Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-
on the oil temperature sensor -2-
.
- When removing the right transmission mount:
Release and disconnect electric plug connections -1 and 3-
on the neutral gear sensor -2-
and on the reversing light switch -4-
.
- When removing the right transmission mount: Unclip electric wiring harness -3- at all fastening points of the gear support.
- When removing the right transmission mount: Release and disconnect electric plug connection -6- .
- When removing the right transmission mount:
Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1 and 2-
.
- On vehicles with dynamic unit mounts: Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1- on the transmission mount.
- Screw off fastening nuts -2- on the transmission mount.
- Unscrew fastening screws -3-
on the transmission.
- Lift up fastening screws -1- on the transmission mount -2- and remove transmission mount -2- and gear support -3- .
