- After replacing or repairing the PDK transmission, the transmission control unit must be calibrated using the PIWIS Tester → "major calibration".
Information
- The coolant hoses must lock with an audible click when pushed into the plug-in couplings.
- Lift the engine with transmission off the unit elevating platform.
- Position rear-axle module on > VAS 6832 - Master Gear unit elevating platform

Get another person to help with this step.
- Fit engine with transmission on the rear-axle module and > VAS 6832/6 - Assembly fixture - Boxster .
- Remove or dismantle lifting equipment.
- Fit rear muffler with holder.
> 263319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR MUFFLER (REAR SILENCER) .
- Install the engine.
