Removing Transmission

NOTIFICATION 

Mechanical overload of components 

• Component will be damaged irreparably 
  • forward Observe guidelines for assembly and disassembly

Information 

Check that the guide sleeves between the transmission flange and engine flange remain in the engine flange.

1. Secure transmission -2-  with a > VAS 501 015 - round sling-1-  .
   1. 1.1 > VAS 6100 - Workshop crane  must be ready.
   2. 1.2 Fit tensioning straps on the transmission as shown > Transmission with lifting strap  .

2. Unscrew fastening screws -1 and 2-  .
3. Unscrew fastening screws -3 to 6-  .

4. Carefully remove transmission from engine using the workshop crane.

   Get another person to help!
