Mounting Transmission

Information 

• The coolant hoses must lock with an audible click when pushed into the plug-in couplings. 

Information 

Replace flange screws if necessary.

1. Mount transmission.

   NOTIFICATION 

   Mechanical overload of components 

   • Component will be damaged irreparably 
     • forward Observe guidelines for assembly and disassembly
2. Fit and tighten fastening screws in the following sequence: -3 to 5-  , then -6-  , and finally -1 and 2-  .

   > Tightening torque 85 Nm (63 ftlb.)  .

   1. 2.1 Tighten screw -1-  using > VAS 6953 - Ring Socket Insert, E18-2-  > V.A.G 1332 - Torque wrench, 40-200 Nm (30-148 ftlb.)-3-  .

      > Tightening torque 85 Nm (63 ftlb.)

3. Remove tensioning straps.
