Draining Transmission Oil

Information
The following conditions must be met in order to drain the transmission oil:
- Engine is switched off.
- Movable transmission parts are not moving.
- Vehicle is raised at a level driving position by a lifting platform.
- Oil collection pan is under the transmission.
WARNING:
Hot fluid
- Danger of scalding
- forward Let the fluid cool down.
- forward Wear personal protective gear.
- Drain transmission oil.
- 1.1 Unscrew filler plug on manual transmission -1- .
- 1.2 Unscrew drain plug on manual transmission -2- .
- 1.3 Allow transmission oil to drain completely into the oil collection pan.
