Compressor Run-In After Installing A New Air-Conditioning Compressor

Information 

• The Compressor run-in function can only be carried out when the engine is running. 
• The prerequisites for compressor run-in can be found directly under the Teach air-conditioning compressor function in the air-conditioning control unit in the PIWIS Tester. 
• Specifications in PIWIS Tester have priority and take precedence over the specifications in the description. 

1. Set air conditioning to A/C MAX  using the operator control unit on the centre console.
2. > 9900 - PIWIS Tester 3  must be connected to the vehicle before starting it. Switch on ignition.
3. Select the required vehicle type.
4. Select the Air conditioning control  unit in the overview  .
5. Maintenance/repairs  must now be selected.
6. Select Teach air-conditioning compressor  and follow the instructions on the Tester.
7. Read out fault memory and erase it if necessary.
