Removing Fuel Line (From Fuel Pump To Heater)

WARNING: Emerging fuel 
  • Risk of fire 

    → Disconnect the battery.

    → Avoid contact with hot parts or sources of ignition.

    → Allow engine to cool down.

    → Relieve the fuel pressure before opening the fuel lines.

    → Collect emerging fuel, absorb it if necessary with a suitable binding material and dispose of properly.

    → Use suction to remove ignitable vapours.

    → Attach warning sign to vehicle in a clearly visible position.

  1. Open clamp -2-  using a suitable tool and pull fuel hose -3-  off the fuel line -1-  .

  2. Unclip fuel line -1-  at the underbody -arrows-  .

    Unclipping fuel line

  3. Open clamp -4-  using a suitable tool and pull fuel line -5-  off the heater.

  4. Unclip fuel line -1-  in the wheel housing -arrows-  and guide it out.
