Removing Control Unit For Distance Measuring Sensor

NOTE:
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
→ Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).
→ Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

- Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work.
- Do not remove new part from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation and only at the installation position.
- Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts.
Information
The distance measuring sensor control unit is integrated into the right ACC sensor and cannot be removed separately.

Removing control unit for distance measuring sensor
- 1.1 Unscrew and remove screws -1- .
- 1.2 Loosen control unit for distance measuring sensor -2- until the electric plug connection -3- is accessible.
- 1.3 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -3- .
