Removing Double-Clutch Transmission

WARNING:
Danger of objects or loads falling down
- Risk of squashing or crushing
→ Secure components to prevent them from falling down.
- For all-wheel drive vehicles:
- Disconnect B+ line -1-
and terminal 50 line -6-
.
- 2.1 Unscrew B+ line -1-
on the generator.
- 2.1.1 Pull off cover -2- on generator -Arrow- and unscrew nut -3- .
- 2.2 Release and disconnect cable plug for terminal 50 -5- .
- 2.3 Unscrew screw -7- .
- 2.4 Unclip B+ line -1- and terminal 50 line -6- from fastening points -4- .
- 2.5 Remove wiring harness.

- 2.1 Unscrew B+ line -1-
on the generator.
- Remove ATF line -2-
and disconnect cable plugs -4 and 5-
on the transmission.
- 3.1 Place collection pan under the transmission.
- 3.2 Loosen screw -1- on transmission -6- and remove it. Close off openings using suitable stoppers.
- 3.3 Loosen and unscrew screw -3- on ATF line holder.
- 3.4 Release and disconnect cable plugs -4 and 5- on the transmission.

- Suspend transmission using > VAS 6100 - workshop crane
and > 9932 - transmission mount-1-
.
- 4.1 > 9932 - Align transmission mount-1- with the transmission with the help of another person and screw in bolts -Arrows- .
- 4.2 > VAS 6100 - Workshop crane must be positioned above the transmission and > 9932 - connected to the transmission mount -1- .
- 4.3 > VAS 6100 - Lift workshop crane up slightly.
- 4.4 Remove rear support -2- from the transmission support.

- Support the engine.
- 5.1 Place a plastic or wooden base -1- under the engine. Do not damage pulse sender -2- .
- 5.2 Lower the workshop crane until the engine is positioned on base -1- .

- Remove the transmission.
- 6.1 Unscrew screws -1 and 2- .
- 6.2 Remove holder -3- .
- 6.3 Carefully guide out the transmission with the help of another person.
