Position electric wire harness for starter -2- on the bolt and screw in and tighten nut -1- > Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)

Fit protection cap -1- .

Protection cap
Install rear cardan shaft.
> 393519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR CARDAN SHAFT
Install ATF cooling line (rear section).
> 386219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ATF COOLING LINE (REAR SECTION)
Install power-steering gear.
> 489055 REPLACING POWER-STEERING GEAR
Remove catalytic converter(s).
V6 biturbo:

> 267319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CATALYTIC CONVERTER (V6 BITURBO)

V6 monoturbo:

> Removing and installing catalytic converter (V6 monoturbo)
Install front-axle support (front section).
> 400819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT-AXLE SUPPORT
Install primary catalytic converter(s).
V6 biturbo:

> 267619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PRIMARY CATALYTIC CONVERTER (V6 BITURBO)

V6 monoturbo:

> Removing and installing primary catalytic converter (V6 monoturbo)
Connect the battery.
