Removing Additional Flap: Notes

Perform emergency operation of additional flaps as described in the Driver's Manual.
1. 1.1. Loosen motor.
2. 1.2. Move additional flaps to the open position.
Disconnect plug connection for motor.

Information

Screw is accessible through the cut-out in the additional flap.

Unscrew and remove fastening screws on the guide flaps.
Information
- The illustrations for the procedure show only one side of the vehicle.
- All steps must also be completed on the opposite side of the vehicle.
- These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown.

Unclip wire harness.

Remove additional flaps.

1. 5.1. Press off clip connection at the drive -arrow A- .
2. 5.2. Pull additional flaps with drive up and off -arrow B- .
Remove drive mechanism.

1. 6.1. Loosen clamp -2- .
2. 6.2. Pull additional flap -1- with actuating cable off the drive.
Disassemble additional flap

1. 7.1. Press additional flap -1- down in the guide rail -2- .
2. 7.2. Press lever out of the guide track -arrow- .
3. 7.3. Pull additional flap -1- fully out of the guide rail -2- .
